Merry Christmas

This is COOL!

Chris got this in an email yesterday. This is the "Christmas Email" that Chief Architect sent out to all their clients and users (Chief Architect is the program that he uses to draw houses.) The thing that is really funny....
he submitted this picture to Chief's User Gallery early this year. They were really impressed with it and someone actually called Chris from the president of the company's office and asked him how he did it and if they could use it...the only change they made was the wreath on the front door!

Christmas Time...

Jayden was sick the other day, so I put him in my bed and had him watch a movie...he almost disappeared!

Sugar Cookies

So Saturday night Chris decided it was time to make some sugar cookies. This is ALWAYS chris' project because for me, they are way too much work for way too little return. The kids love to make cookies with chris becuase he lets them eat the dough...as you will see... rolling and cutting

Tis The Season...

For Woodworking! This year for Christmas, I told Chris that I'd like a new bed. (We haven't had a headboard or footboard since his back surgery 4 years ago). So, that's what I wanted for christmas--complete with new bedding and everything.

So Lovin' Christmas

So, we are all "decked out" for the holidays...our lights have been up for a week now (and ON!) Carrie and the girls made this awesome wreath for me. I LOVE IT!!!
we got our christmas tree last night. we were going to cut one down again, but they were all out of permits. ANYWAY...there is this family that lives on the south end of logan and they sell christmas trees at a VERY fair price...so we got this tree last night for $25! We came home and decorated and are enjoying the SMELL and the beauty of it! I don't think it matters how old you get, there is just something awesome about a christmas tree.
the family that was selling the trees were also trying to get rid of two black lab puppies. They had this little girl (probably 7 or 8) sitting there with the dogs. She was such a little sales woman. Kenzie LOVED the dog. Jaxon liked it until he smelled it. Jayden loved it too. Anyway, this girl kept trying to get us to take one. Mykenzie was all for it as was chris...jax and I opposed. So we are still dogless. Can you imagine a black lab running free around our house? neither could I!

New Kitchen Table

We got a new dining set...FINALLY! We ordered it forever ago and it finally came in last week. It took forever to put it together. It has a leaf that goes to it and makes it bigger. We can easily fit 8 people with the leaf in it. So we got 8 chairs to go with it and use the extras to replace our old barstools. it's a counter height table...I LOVE IT!
