Anniversary/Harware Ranch
So, for our anniversary (7 years, for those not counting so well!) I was so not feeling well. Friday (the night before) we went to the Olive Garden and I ate about three bites of food...so sad since I'd been craving it for weeks. After that we went to a movie that I was so NOT feeling up to. On our actual anniversary I felt mildly better...so we went to Harware Ranch with some friends. Hardware Ranch is a wildlife reserve for elk. They feed them all winter and then send them back out in the spring. The give sleigh rides through the herd and give a little lecture. It was so fun. The kids had a blast too. the herd

Little Gentleman
At Jaxon's school they do something a little different for valentine's day. They have what's called "valentine's tea". The kids are asked to come dressed in their best and then they are taught and practice etiquette. They show the boys how to pull out a chair for a girl. Then they teach them the polite way to eat, etc. So today was Jaxon's first experience with it. here he is after school (he couldn't get himself ready fast enough to get a picture this morning). he looked so handsome--he calls it "sharp".
here is his spoils! they were only allowed to hand out valentine's at school. They were to be opened at home...and boy were they opened. It's almost like Halloween!
happy valentine's day!

We LOVE Pepperidge Farm...
I LOVE Pepperidge Farm Gold Fish...and so does my family. Conveniently for us, there is a Peppereidge Farm factory less than a mile down the road :) Today we discovered we were OUT of crackers...ALL crackers. As a quick remedy, I ran to Pepperidge before picking Jaxon up from school. Lucky for us, they had a special on our favorites (Favor Blasted Cheddar). We got 24 packagages (this box) for $7.00!
We also bought a bag of cookies and a few other varieties of fish. As you can see, Jayden is happy with the selection:) VIVA la Goldfish!
Wait 'til summer and we start singing the praises of Casper's Factory outlet!

Gross!!!
This is Jayden....sucking his thumb while playing with the nasty end of the mop. This is Jayden's "thing". For all you past thumb suckers (and I KNOW you're out there) you know how you had that thing that you always had in your hand when you were sucking your thumb? Well, Jayden has two things...1) the silky (which if you've ever been to our home, you know the silky) and 2) anything wet...dish rags my or kenzie's hair...the mop...NASTY!
here he is saying "cheese"
