Kids Do the Darndest Things

Ward Halloween Party

There are what their costumes are supposed to look like, but since it's been snowing and more is expected...they won't look anything like this on halloween...gotta love the 6 months of winter!
Somewhere between General Conference and Stake Conference we had some bad miscommunication in the ward and we showed up in time for the closing prayer! The kids still got some treats and it was ok, but seriously.....

PAYTON WALKS!!!!!

So Payton has decided that he likes to walk and he's trying it more and more. When he falls down he quickly gets back up. He is getting so big.

Pumpkin Carving Party

Crazy Hair Day!

This week has been red ribbon week at Park Elementary School. Each day the kids do something different to show their commitment to being drug free. Monday was red shirt day, tuesday was inside out and backwards day, wednesday was crazy sock day (we had no shortage on that one thanks to grandma dottie!) thursday was school spirit day and today was the long awaited crazy hair day. This is the kids favorite day of the whole year. They had fun thinking of funny things to do with their hair. Here is what we ended up with

Update on the Addition

Last Monday we started taking out the cabinets.


Tuesday night we started taking out the tile
Wednesday night we finished taking out the tile
Jayden just wanted to smash all the little pieces of tile.


We finished painting Monday afternoon

We started laying the new tile on Saturday night


This is late saturday afternoon

last night we finished laying the tile

tonight we will grout
tomorrow night we will seal the grout
thursday the cabinet guys are coming
friday night we hope to get ready to make the countertops
saturday we will probably (hopefully) finish the counters
next week we will put in the wood floors
and then carpet
and then DONE!
